American Eagle Outfitters has a new CMO, Kathy Savitt, and a new branded lingerie line. Savitt previously worked as vice president-strategic communications, content and initiatives at Amazon. The new
intimates line, "aerie by American Eagle," will include bras, panties, and dorm-wear designed for the company's core 15- to 25-year-old customer. The launch will be supported with a diversified real
estate strategy, including expanded intimates shops within existing stores, intimates-only locations adjacent to AE stores, and select standalone aerie stores in high-end shopping malls.
