Yahoo! To Hold Summit Illuminating Digital Life of Women

Yahoo! announced Thursday its latest summit for online marketers, entitled Real Women. Digital World, to be held Thursday, April 29, 2004, at the Yahoo! campus in Sunnyvale, California. The initiation-only event will feature some of the most influential and powerful women in business. The summit's content will focus on how women are reshaping the marketing landscape and offer marketers insights into how to apply their strategies to this changing audience. In addition to keynote addresses from high-profile leaders, the agenda for the day includes discussions with chief marketing officers of leading companies. Yahoo! will also host an open town hall discussion with a panel of women discussing the daily challenges facing them.

As part of the program, Yahoo! and Starcom Mediavest Group will unveil original research insights examining women's media habits and attitudes, and providing insights to marketers on messaging to women in a changing media landscape.

Featured speakers include:

  • Suze Orman, the personal finance editor on CNBC and host of the The Suze Orman Show.

  • Kathleen Q. Abernathy, recently sworn-in Federal Communication Commission (FCC) Commissioner.
  • Allison Pearson, a writer and a broadcaster, author of "I Don't Know How She Does It."

  • Mary Lou Quinlan, CEO of consulting firm Just Ask a Woman.
