StreamAudio Stations Back Up

  • April 16, 2001
StreamAudio announced today it has converted many of its terrestrial radio station clients over to its ad insertion solution. This feature allows each station to provide Internet listeners their stream without being in violation of any AFTRA restrictions. The company reports more stations will be up this week.

Stations are currently running station-produced commercials voiced by non-union talent. And they are also running station promos and stagers. Some stations are running Internet-only promos designed to recycle their cume back to the station.

Entercom stations in Boston and Seattle are back online with ad insertion enabled. The Seattle Sandusky cluster is up and streaming and 47 Cox Radio stations across the USA have also returned to providing programming to a growing Internet audience. In March 2001 StreamAudio delivered 4.1 million streaming user sessions.
