BusinessWeek Ups Circulation

  • September 12, 2000
BusinessWeek will increase its North American advertising rate base to 950,000 on January 1, 2001. Globally, rate bases for the international markets will also increase to 100,000 in Europe and 75,000 in Asia. The rate base increases will result in a worldwide circulation base of more than 1.125 million for BusinessWeek, the largest of any business magazine. The move to 950,000 is the second rate base increase for BusinessWeek in a year. On January 1, 2000, the rate base was increased from 850,000 to 900,000. While the increase to a 950,000 rate base will take effect in January, advertisers will reap the benefit of the larger audience immediately, BusinessWeek said.
