In a production arrangement with Ford Motor Company, Lions Gate Entertainment is bringing NO BOUNDARIES, based on the popular European reality series "71 Degrees North," to American television. The
13-episode series, which sends competitors on a trek through spectacular wilderness, will premiere next season on The WB. Lions Gate acquired rights to the show format from Nordisk Film TV after the
show was brought to the company's attention by Brian Frons, Senior Vice President of Programming for Scandinavian Broadcasting System, Lions Gate's partner on the show. "71 Degrees North" had
premiered on SBS's TV Norge, was nominated for the "Rose d'Or" at the Montreux television festival, and achieved record ratings. After its great success in Norway, "71 Degrees North" has been licensed
to broadcasters throughout Europe, including the SBS stations in Switzerland, Sweden, Poland and Denmark.
