Opportunity to oversee all content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive constituent engagement, student/faculty/staff recruitment/retention, advocacy and philanthropic support for the university. The position collaborates with staff leaders in public/media relations, strategic communications, marketing, enrollment management, IT and advancement/alumni relations to identify and share compelling stories that engage others and elevate brand awareness and affinity. This position will consistently focus on the content interests of constituents to assure customer engagement and a positive customer/user experience. Reports to Senior Vice President for Strategic Communications and External Affairs.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, public relations or related communications field. Ten years of experience in multichannel content creation (publishing, journalism, etc.) including experience with creating compelling messages for different target demographics. Expertise in major business software applications (Adobe, Microsoft Office, etc.). Master's in Business Administration preferred.
