WB Sets Ratings Record

The WB Television Network set all-time ratings records for the first four days of last week, Monday through Thursday, in vital young adult demographics according to Nielsen Media Research national ratings. The four-day ratings marks were accomplished during premiere week, helping the network get off to a very strong start to the new season. (Results of Friday and Sunday nights' national ratings will be available later today). These ratings records top the previous marks which were set when the network was running simultaneously on Superstation WGN, making the records all the more significant. The WB's first four days of premiere week, Monday through Thursday, were the highest Monday through Thursday ratings for the network in any week in the following demographics: RECORD: The adult 18-34 rating of 2.9/8 was the network's best-ever for a Monday through Thursday. RECORD: The women 18-34 score of 3.9/10 was also The WB's highest for a Monday through Thursday. TIES A RECORD: The women 18-49 number of 3.2/8 tied The WB's best-ever for a Monday through Thursday.
