Airline Cans Net Ads In Wake Of Attack

In the wake of terrorist attacks in New York involving hijacked airliners, New Zealand budget airline Freedom Air has decided to halted its advertising.

Freedom Air in a statement Wednesday morning said it has pulled all its TV, newspaper and online advertising as a mark of respect in the aftermath of the devastating effects of the commercial aircraft hijackings.

No advertising will run for the next two days, the airline said, with a review due as the situation develops.
