Office Space for Businesses Displaced by WTC Disaster

  • September 14, 2001
A free information clearinghouse has been set up to match offers of immediately available office space in the New York area with businesses that have been displaced by the terrorist attack.

The service, created by Stanton Crenshaw Communications, a New York public relations firm, will catalog available spaces that may range from one or two offices to vacant areas.

"There has been an outpouring of offers of space from businessowners as well as from those attempting to get back to some semblance of normal business operation," said Alex Stanton, CEO of Stanton Crenshaw. "The goal of this clearinghouse is to match businesspeople who want to help with those who desperately need assistance."

Businesspeople who have office space to lend or rent, or know someone whose business has been displaced by this tragic event and needs help, can contact Stanton Crenshaw via e-mail at alex@stanton-crenshaw.com. Please try to include as many specifics as possible (location, space availability etc.) along with contact information. The firm also expects to launch a Web page soon to expedite the process.
