The Texas Economic Development Tourism Division announced today the launch of an aggressive new advertising campaign, "Western Myths" featuring eight print and three broadcast commercials that will
appear nationwide. The campaign contains a strong call to action for consumers to contact Texas Tourism at its toll free number or
website to receive a free travel
guide, maps and accommodation guides. Created by Texas advertising agency of record McCann-Erickson, the new ads will begin appearing in January with the broadcast segments running through June 2002
and the print portion continuing all year.
