BURST! Launches AdDesktop

Internet advertising company BURST! Media today began offering its ad serving product to those outside of the BURST! network, entering the ranks of companies like DoubleClick, who has been licensing out their DART ad serving technology for several years.

As the newest competitor, BURST’s AdDesktop hopes to win the approval of publishers by providing them with two tiers of ad management solutions: Publisher Pro and Publisher Enterprise. Publisher Pro supports the fundamentals of ad management including the support of multiple creative units. In addition, a heavy focus is also placed on a suite of business and campaign management tools necessary to conduct the business of selling advertising online.

Supplementing the capabilities of Publisher Pro, Publisher Enterprise adds multi-tiered user access, advanced targeting features, and enhanced business tools.

Both solutions include online startup materials and training, redundant global server infrastructure and live technology support seven days a week.

According to Jarvis Coffin, President and CEO of BURST! Media, one of the larger issues lost in other ad management solutions that BURST! hopes to address, is the necessity for integrating business functions into the ad serving business.

He said, “It’s important to realize that ad serving is a tool for a business. Our product will deliver all of the essential ad management tools, without any of the unnecessary features or subsequent costs.”
