Tribune Company named Eddy Hartenstein as president and CEO, responsible for overseeing all of the company's operations. Hartenstein has served as co-president of the company and a member of the
board. He will continue to serve as publisher and CEO of Los Angeles Times Communications. In that capacity, he will be assisted by Kathy Thomson, appointed as president and COO of LAT Communications.
