Greenspun Media Group (GMG), owners of a handful of Las Vegas broadcast and print properties, has promoted Michael Carr to the post of president and Roger Saunders to the post of executive vice
president. Carr, Playboy's president of publishing before joining GMG, will remain co-publisher of the company's newly launched VEGAS Magazine. "In a very short time, Michael has brought a new energy
and focus to the media group," said GMG chairman Daniel Greenspun, who previously held the president position, in a press release. Saunders joined GMG in 2000 and was charged with overseeing the
day-to-day operations of the company's weekly newspaper and magazine divisions. "Roger's consistent execution and team-driven determination has increased revenue for us impressively over the past
three years," Greenspun added.
