MGM, Pax Sign Deal on Weekly Movie Night

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. and Pax TV have formed a one-year programming relationship and MGM-branded movie block called "MGM Night at the Movies." MGM movies will air from 8-10 p.m. Fridays beginning Sept. 5. Among the MGM movies that will be seen on PAX starting this fall are "Dances With Wolves," "The Usual Suspects," "Hoosiers," "The Bounty," "Mr. Mom," "Benny & Joon," "Four Weddings and A Funeral," "Rocky V," "Six Degrees of Separation," "Not Without My Daughter," "Man In the Moon" and the classic "Inherit the Wind." Paxson Communications Corp. owns and operates the nation's largest broadcast television distribution system and Pax TV, family television. Pax TV reaches 88% of U.S. television households (approximately 94 million homes) via nationwide broadcast television, cable and satellite distribution systems.
