Cooking Light and Norwegian Cruise Team Up

  • August 1, 2003
Cooking Light magazine and Norwegian Cruise Lines have kicked off the ninth year of their partnership by announcing this year's "Ship Shape Cruise Adventure." The cruise, conceived by Cooking Light as a vehicle for readers to incorporate travel into their healthy lifestyle, leaves from Miami for the Western Caribbean on November 9. Four hundred guests and five national sponsors (Mission Foods, Sutter Home, Luna, Sunkist and Orange Glow) are expected to be on board. Destinations include Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Costa Maya, Mexico. "The Ship Shape Cruise Adventure has become a remarkable opportunity to connect with both readers and advertisers," said Cooking Light publisher Chris Allen in a press release. "Our readers gain a firsthand experience of what it means to be an active traveler - from food to exercise and recreation - and our sponsors gain access to a valuable demographic for whom healthy living means much more than just eating well." Registration information can be accessed at www.cookinglight.com or by calling 1-888-CL-TRIPS.
