Activision Picks California Agency For TV Work

Activision Inc. has selected Secret Weapon Marketing of Santa Monica, Calif., as its new television creative agency and extended its relationship with MediaVest Worldwide as its TV AOR. Secret Weapon Marketing was selected from a group of eight agencies following a six-week search. The company developed a broadcast campaign for a new Activision game, True Crime: Streets of LA, that will be introduced in the fall. Headquartered in Santa Monica, California, Activision, Inc. is developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment and leisure products. Founded in 1979, Activision posted revenues of $786 million for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2002. Activision maintains operations in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Scandinavia and the Netherlands.
