Wikipedia plans to stage a "blackout" on Wednesday to help protest proposed U.S. legislation aimed at online piracy. The free, nonprofit online encyclopedia is among those who oppose the Stop Online Piracy Act, or SOPA, because it could make website publishers liable for links to sources of copyrighted information.
