Martha Stewart Inks Cross-Media Deal

Expect to see Martha Stewart hitting the rum bottle quite a bit, as Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, and Rums of Puerto Rico have developed a cross-media deal. Stewart’s magazine, Martha Stewart Living, will feature advertorials for Puerto Rico and rum products, with content also featured on Stewart’s television program and website. Financial terms were not disclosed. The promotional element also includes a sweepstakes program that was given away the “Perfect Wedding in Puerto Rico” last weekend. Various Martha Stewart advertisers contributed wedding gifts to the bride and groom, whose wedding will be featured on an upcoming episode of Stewart’s television show.
