The Major Broadcasting Cable Television Network will announce today a 24-hour news channel to deliver news with an African-American perspective. MBC, an African American owned and operated cable
channel, plans to provide news and features relevant to communities nationwide. MBC now reaches 24 million homes in 2,400 cities and 48 states. The channel said the addition of a news network will
help MBC extend its reach and impact on urban communities.
