Grey Global Revenues Increase 10%

Grey Global Group, parent company of buying agency MediaCom Worldwide, reported a 10% increase in second-quarter revenues to $319.9 million. North American revenues were up 4.9% but Grey Global said it benefited $23.6 million during the quarter with a weakened dollar against European currency. The company said it was continuing to face challenges with some signs of stability that are offset by economic weakness. It said that additional work had been gained by some of its "foundation global accounts," including Procter & Gamble, Mars, GlaxoSmithLine, 3M and British American Tobacco.
