Labatt Gets In Foam Over Photo

Labatt Brewing Company threatened legal action against the Montreal Gazette last week if the paper would not take down a photograph from its website of cannibal-killer Luka Magnotta holding a bottle of Blue. Twitter got the story and what followed was several hours of online ridicule against the brewer. Labatt recanted. Labatt did get some sympathetic commentary. Writing in the Ottawa Citizen, Dan Gardner observed: "Labatt had good reason to worry. It still does."
