Allen & Gerristen's Papa Gino's Ad Campaign Launches

Allen & Gerristen, a Boston-based ad agency, created a new advertising campaign for Dedham-based Papa Gino’s. Allen & Gerristen was named Papa Gino’s agency of record in December 2011, and the release says that the new ad campaign was the first major advertising the company has done in the last 10 months.

The campaign features New Englanders dropping whatever they are doing to go and eat Papa Gino’s pizza and wings. The campaign also marks the debut for Papa Gino’s new tagline, “Let’s Eat.”

“Since Papa Gino’s has been a ritual for New Englanders for more than fifty years, we believe our customers will strongly identify with what Allen & Gerristen has created,” stated Pete Bell, Papa Gino’s CMO.

“The campaign is designed to connect emotionally with a wide cross-section of New Englanders who have grow up with Papa Gino’s,” said Allen & Gerristen CEO Gary Greenberg in a statement. “’Let’s Eat’ speaks to the role Papa Gino’s plays in people’s lives. It’s community driven.”

The campaign launched with two 30-second TV spots, four radio spots, digital advertising, in-store marketing, and a print component.
