Internet communications and networking company Theglobe.com announced a definitive agreement Wednesday to acquire SendTec, Inc., a provider of online and offline results-based direct marketing
services. The transaction is expected to close during the first week of September. Under the merger agreement, SendTec will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Theglobe.com. The company expects
Voiceglo, a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Theglobe.com, to directly benefit from the new SendTec relationship.
