  • September 1, 2004
Internet media company IGN Entertainment, serving the video game and entertainment enthusiast markets, Wednesday announced that it has signed an agreement with StarPulse to exclusively represent and sell the advertising space on its Web site, Starpulse.com, an entertainment-focused search engine and directory covering over 13,000 entertainment topics. This adds to IGN's existing entertainment portfolio, which includes IGNFilmForce and Rotten Tomatoes, as well as IGN's video game sites, IGN.com, GameSpy.com, TeamXBox.com, and FilePlanet.com. This partnership expands IGN's overall reach by an incremental 4 million users; in July 2004, the combined IGN properties and Starpulse.com reached a collective total of 24 million unduplicated unique visitors, according to comScore MediaMetrix.
