Microsoft Manages 78% of Enterprise Email in India
Microsoft's Exchange Server platform owns 78 percent market share of enterprise email solutions in India, according to research firm Ascentius. According to Microsoft's
calculations, this makes Microsoft the largest on-premise business email provider in India. In addition, Microsoft's Office 365, a cloud-based email collaboration tool has 70 percent market
share in the consumer space in India. The report also revealed that total revenue for both on-premise, hosted and cloud-based email and collaboration platform will grow to $111 million by
2015 in India.
