Mags Make It Seven Straight Months, Pages Climb In November

Ad pages increased again in November, adding to what has become a seven-month growth spurt.

Total pages climbed by 3.8 percent, while revenue grew by a solid 11.5 percent in November to $2,309,465,163, according to Publishers Information Bureau (PIB) data.

For the year, pages are up by 3.1 percent, while revenue has increased by 10.5 percent to $19,389,283,146.

Once again, the majority of measured categories exhibited growth. Seven of the 12 major categories recorded page and revenue increases, led by double-digit gains in Automotive and Financial, Insurance, and Real Estate.

For the year, the story is even better, as nine of the 12 major advertising categories are up in revenue and pages.
