Viacom has agreed to purchase CBS Sacramento affiliate KOVR-TV from the Sinclair Broadcast Group, giving the media giant its ninth duopoly since it also owns the Sacramento UPN station KMAX-TV.

Viacom's other duopoly markets include Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, San Francisco, Dallas, Detroit, Miami, and Pittsburgh.
