Interpublic Group of Cos. acquired Media First International Inc., a New York-based media company, for an undisclosed amount. In a press release Tuesday, Interpublic Group said Media First managed
more than $330 million of media expenditures for its clients during 2001. Media First, which also has an office in Minneapolis, will operate as a stand- alone unit of Interpublic's Partnership
division and will continue to be headed by its founder, president and chief executive, Richard Kostrya.
