The Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson has signed a development deal Wednesday with Universal Television to produce a syndicated talk show. The premiere is planned for September 2003. The market for
syndicated talk is tough, with more shows failing than succeeding and ratings declining across the genre. Comedian Ellen DeGeneres is also shooting for a September 2003 talk show launch.
