Boston Magazine Launches Chinese Edition

In what looks like a first for a U.S. city magazine, Boston magazine announced that it is launching a new Chinese-language edition catering to Chinese immigrants, tourists, students and investors, who have been a growing presence in the city’s economy in recent years. The first issue of the new Chinese edition translates the the magazine’s annual Best of Boston listings, along with content from previous editions including top restaurants and a variety of lifestyle coverage, according to The Boston Globe. It hits the newsstands with a cover price of $6.99 and a print run of 35,000. The magazine plans on publishing two Chinese issues per year.
