Bill Clinton Spars With Black Lives Matter Protester

At a Hillary Clinton event, former President Bill Clinton had a lively exchange with a Black Lives Matter member in the crowd. The back and forth was about his 1994 crime bill, which he says was the main reason why “we have a 25-year low in crime, a 33-year low in murder rate.” The criticism from Black Lives Matter is that the bill increased the incidence of black Americans being incarcerated for nonviolent crimes. President Clinton addressed his wife explaining: “This election is about the future. They’re trying to blame her for something she didn’t do.”
