Sprint Offers New Data Plan As Merger Rumors Swirl

Sprint launched a new unlimited data family plan that one longtime analyst called "arguably the most aggressive promotion in the history of the U.S. wireless industry.” The offer comes as speculation heats up over a Sprint and T-Mobile merger. It would give new customers a free year of unlimited data for up to five lines if they bring their own mobile phone and SIM card.
