Capital One Gets Naming Rights To Former Verizon Center

Monumental Sports and Entertainment has signed a deal that gives Capital One naming rights to the arena in which they all play, also owned by MSE. The venue in downtown Washington, D.C., known as the Verizon Center since 2006, will “effective immediately” become the Capital One Arena, with full signage and re-branding and marketing support scheduled for the fall.
