General Electric Company became the premier sponsor of Reuters Interactive TV in a deal announced on Wednesday, which will see GE running 30-second post-roll video ads on the Reuters channel. The ads
will promote GE products and services designed to be environment-friendly, such as aircraft engines and technology that transforms coal into a cleaner-burning fuel. The approach has been dubbed GE's
'ecomagination' campaign, and will feature a banner ad displayed on the left-side of the page allowing viewers to click through to a GE-branded sponsor page Reuters Interactive TV channel is currently
available in the U.S on Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.
