Gray Television Wednesday announced its board approved a plan to spin-off its newspaper and Graylink wireless businesses to shareholders. Atlanta-based Gray, the largest independent owner of CBS
affiliates and owner of 31 TV stations in 27 markets, said the new publicly traded company will be named Triple Crown Media Inc. Gray's newspaper division includes five dailies. -- Michael Deibert
