Blake Nordstrom, who was co-president of the department store named for his family, died in Seattle on Wednesday morning. The 58-year-old disclosed in December he had been diagnosed with a treatable
form of lymphoma and was undergoing treatment. He ran the luxury retailer along with his two brothers, Pete and Erik Nordstrom, who will continue to head the company. Their great-grandfather, Swedish
immigrant John Nordstrom, founded the company in 1901 in Seattle.
