Struggling VW Plans U.S. Push

Faced with a 17 percent drop in U.S. sales in the first 10 months of this year, Volkswagen AG's new operations chief promises big changes designed to improve the German carmaker's standing in the American market. The executive, Adrian Hallmark, says the company will develop products specifically for the U.S. market and beef up marketing support in an all-out effort to improve sales.
