The NBC Agency Renews Agreement With Horizon, Chooses Fallon For Media Planning

NBC Universal TV marketing arm's The NBC Agency has renewed its long-term agreement with Horizon Media as its main media buying agency for its $140 million media buying business. Horizon will do all its broadcast and national TV buying for all its TV broadcast and cable networks. NBC did name a new media planning agency, Fallon, as well as its sister agency Starlink, which will handle all media planning for NBC TV networks. Fallon will also handle non-broadcast buying for NBC. Fallon takes over from MediaVest, which handled all buying for NBC Universal cable networks, and non-broadcast buying for NBC. Media Kitchen handled USA Network and Sci-Fi Channel media planning.
