The mobile game market is poised for major growth, according to a brief released by research firm eMarketer, citing International Data Corporation projections that revenues will reach $1.5 billion by
2008--up from just $600 million in 2005. According to the report, revenues will be driven by the development of more location-aware programs that will allow advertisers to engage in precision
targeting.
