The digital media publisher MediaBay Tuesday announced the appointment of Gui Karyo to the position of chief technology officer. In his new role, Karyo will be responsible for directing the company's
overall information technology strategy and driving systems implementation initiatives. He will work directly with the company's information technology partners on the prioritization and execution of
all development and operational programs. Karyo most recently served in the roles of chief information officer, president of publishing, and executive vice president of operations at Marvel
Entertainment, Inc.
