Network Live, a joint venture between American Online, XM Satellite Radio, and entertainment company AEG, on Wednesday announced the appointment of television industry veteran Michael Goldfine to
serve as vice president of production and programming. In his new role, Goldfine--coming off three years as senior producer and correspondent for Extra!--will oversee all creative development and
production of Network Live programming--including music events, original programming, and comedy, and ensuring that the program translates across multiple digital distribution platforms such as
Internet, satellite radio, mobile, and TV. Goldfine will also hear pitches from and develop talent, writers, and producers, and will manage relationships with distribution and content partners for
Network LIVE programming.
