With its six new franchise locations in the first quarter of 2024, Jeremiah's Italian Ice is celebrating as it also nears the opening of its 150^th location.

The Florida-based dessert shop partnered with brand accelerator Pivotal Growth Partners in 2009, and since launched Jeremiah’s franchise program that has resulted in a sixfold increase in units and expansion into 11 states.  

"We've been lucky to find passionate partners to join us on our mission of introducing communities throughout the country to our frozen treats,” said Michael Keller, CEO and president of Jeremiah's. “Jeremiah's has big plans for our continued development."

The chain also announced several new menu items in collaboration with Oreo through April 30.

The Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Flavorite contains chocolate chip cookie dough ice, vanilla ice cream and Oreo cookie crumbles. The Oreo Double Stuf Flavorite is comprised of Oreo crème Ice, vanilla ice cream, Oreo cookie crumbles and an Oreo crème swirl topper. And there is the Oreo Frappe Flavorite, which is Oreo mocha ice, vanilla ice cream and Oreo cookie crumbles.

With their frog mascot, Jeramiah’s did not let 2024 – a Leap Year – go uncelebrated. Founded in a Leap Year (1996 by ‘Head Frog’ Jeremy Litwack), the chain commemorated throughout February with throwback offers and content, “sharing the history of the brand and its 'Frogma'-driven culture along the way,” culminating with a J-List exclusive (its loyalty program) Leap Day party at every store along with “Leap Back Pricing” of $.96 treats.
