Publicis Groupe, through its public relations subsidiary, Manning Selvage & Lee, has acquired an additional 21 percent stake in Capital MS&L, giving it a controlling 51 percent stake in the
international financial communications firm. The deal beefs up Publicis' position in the financial communications and investor relations community, at a time when Publicis itself has been making
noises about getting into the venture capital game. In a related move, Publicis announced it is consolidating its U.K.-based PR and investor relations operations within Capital MS&L.
