The NBA Finals jumped out to a stronger ratings start than last year. Game 1 between Miami and Dallas drew 11.5 million viewers--8 percent higher than the opening battle last year--while posting a 4.8
in the key 18-to-49 demo, a 9 percent jump over 2005.
