Google captured 60.29 percent of searches for the four weeks ending Saturday, according to new data by research company Hitwise. The market share surpassed Google's previous high for the year--60.23
percent for the four weeks ending July 29. Yahoo accounted for 22.58 percent of searches for the four weeks ending Sept. 9, while MSN claimed 11.56 percent and Ask.com garnered 3.63 percent.
