Kanoodle to Let Smaller Web Publishers Sell Listings

  • October 5, 2004
Sponsored search and contextual listings provider Kanoodle Tuesday launched BrightAds (TM), a self-service tool for small- to medium-sized content publishers that lets them run content-targeted sponsored links on their sites. Small business publishers can now add sponsored link advertisements to their sites and generate immediate revenue.

BrightAds maps ads by topics rather than keywords, which the company says prevents "keyword mapping challenges," caused by different words spelled the same way. To date, Kanoodle's listings have only been available to large content publishers, including CBS MarketWatch, MSNBC.com, USAToday.com, and others.
