Toy maker Mega Brands Inc. said Monday it will develop construction toys based on characters from Nick Jr. brands. Toys will include buildable playsets and vehicles based on Nickelodeon preschool
brands including Go Diego Go!, The Backyardigans and Dora the Explorer. Financial terms for the multiyear international licensing partnership with Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products were
undisclosed. The products will launch in the U.S. and Canada in 2007 and expand to additional markets, including the U.K., France, Australia and Latin America later in the year and in 2008.
