Coach Tests New Retail Concept

Buoyed by the success of its Legacy line, Coach said yesterday that it was opening its first two Coach Legacy boutiques this fall, in New York and Los Angeles. The company said the concept boutiques would showcase an edited assortment of Coach's products, including limited edition items. Because the collections will be edgier, "we view these boutiques as laboratories, where we can pilot emerging collections," the company said.
