Chase Bank, a division of JPMorgan Chase & Co., is giving its Freedom credit card holders an option to redeem reward points for a cash contribution to the American Cancer Society.

"Chase Freedom now offers our customers the freedom to support the fight against cancer and makes this act of giving as easy as possible," said Stacy Hamilton, senior vice president of product development for Chase Card Services.

In exchange for 2,500 points, a $25 contribution will be made to the society. Chase said it would contribute a minimum of $75,000 as part of the promotion, which it will not advertise.
