BBC Signs Deal With YouTube

It's old media meets new: On Friday, the BBC began showing excerpts from its news and entertainment shows on YouTube. The British Broadcasting Corp. is the first international broadcaster to sign with the Google-owned site. The deal gives the BBC access to millions of potential viewers, while YouTube gains credibility. The BBC is offering three branded channels on the site, including one showing up to 30 news clips a day.
